Xtreme Escape Rooms announced its opening in January 2016 as an independent Macomb County escape room in Shelby Township. It was best known for Patient Zero, which put a live actor in the room with you, and for Time Bomb. In 2018, Time Bomb cost $29 per person on Fridays and Saturdays and $25 Sunday through Thursday. The Haunted Attic and Mardi Gras joined the lineup later. It has since closed.
