Woodward Coney Island is a family-owned coney joint on Woodward Avenue, a short walk from Campus Martius Park. The draw is the Detroit classic: a hot dog with chili, onions and mustard, plus the usual diner lineup for breakfast and lunch. Detroit Metro Times included it in its guide to the area's Coney Islands. It's a quick, cheap and very Detroit stop if you're wandering downtown.
