Twelve Oaks Mall opened on August 2, 1977, at 12 Mile and Novi roads, where you can spot it from I-96. It ranks among Michigan's largest malls, with roughly 1.5 million square feet and more than 185 stores. Macy's, JCPenney and Nordstrom anchor it, and the old Sears space now holds Dick's House of Sport, Primark and a Round1 entertainment center. Simon Property Group has owned and run the mall since buying Taubman Realty Group in November 2025.
