Todd's was a bar complex at 8139 E. Seven Mile Road made up of Todd's Sway Lounge and Todd's Other Side. In the 1980s it was a punk and new-wave venue rather than a dedicated gay bar, but it welcomed gay patrons and hosted at least one drag pageant title. According to the Detroit gay history blog, it closed amid lawsuits over stage-diving injuries. Its owners also ran the Akron Health Club, one of the city's bathhouses.
