Make time for these
TNT Health Club opened in 1979 in a building that had been a Jewish schvitz, and it became known for its indoor pool. When the other Detroit bathhouses closed in the mid-1980s, TNT remained the city's only one for years, until Body Zone opened. The club was rebuilt after a fire in 1992 and carried on as a private, membership-based men's health club. It shut down in 2018, and its contents were sold off that September.
