The dance club at 1431 Times Square in downtown Detroit went through several incarnations as a gay venue over the years. In 2006 it reopened with Wet and Wild Wednesdays, a weekly night aimed at the African American LGBT community, and Pride Source covered the reopening that April. By 2009 it was recorded as closed as a gay bar.
