What’s it like to stay here?
The Riverhouse used to be the Inn on Water Street and has reopened in downtown Marine City under new owners and a new name. Balcony rooms face the St. Clair River, so you can watch the freighters slide by from your own chair. The town's shops, beach and the Belle River kayak launch are all walkable. The hotel lends free Electra beach-cruiser bikes, welcomes pets, can set up boat docking nearby, and runs a dining room with cocktails and live music Thursday through Saturday evenings while a full restaurant is in the works.
