What’s it like to stay here?
The John Harvey House is a Second Empire and Queen Anne brick mansion that John V. Smith designed for pharmacist and philanthropist John Harvey. It became a rooming house in 1938, was bought by developers in 1986, went on the National Register in 1991 and opened as a historic inn in 2005. Inside you'll find eight marble fireplaces, a three-story staircase and antique-filled rooms, some with stadium views, and you can book the whole house for events of 5 to 50 people. The Fox Theatre, Comerica Park and Little Caesars Arena are a short walk away.
