Make time for these
The gallery belongs to Detroit-born painter Felle, who started at 14 and has painted stage backdrops for Tyler Perry, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, among others. His spot at Livernois and Pembroke leans into portraits, and the signature event is the selfie paint party: Felle sketches each guest, then everyone paints their own likeness. His Hero Collection includes portraits of Detroit icons like Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin. In September 2026 he was part of the return of Livernois Art on the Avenue, and he likes to call the strip the Avenue of Passion.
