What’s it like to stay here?
The Detroit Club was founded in 1882, and its Romanesque Revival clubhouse, designed by Wilson Eyre, was finished in 1891; the building is on the National Register. Today it has 21 contemporary hotel rooms that are open to guests. Inside you'll find the Bohemia restaurant, a cigar bar and the SOAK spa with a saltwater grotto. For events, the third-floor Presidential Ballroom seats 75 or holds 100 for a strolling reception, the Library Bar takes up to 60 standing, and the Presidential Dining Room seats 12.

You'll find it at 712 Cass Ave., on the corner of Cass and Fort downtown. With only 21 rooms, book early for weekends.
