01 / The story of this place

Make time for these

The Bastille opened in summer 2025 on the corner of Grand River Avenue and Washington Boulevard, inside a 1926 building that sits in one of downtown's historic districts. The pitch is simple: cocktails, billiards and late nights. Beyond mixed drinks, the menu covers imported beers, seltzers, French wines and sparkling brut, with a few non-alcoholic picks for anyone skipping the booze. Since the doors stay open until 2 a.m. seven days a week, it's an easy last stop after a game or a show.
