01 / The story of this place

Tashmoo was founded in 2022 by Chris and Ellen Ross and Tom Maliskey, opened in December 2023, and takes its name from the Tashmoo, a passenger steamer from 1900. Local singer-songwriters and bands such as JT Walking Tall, Lisa Mary, the Meldrum Brothers Band and Paul & Oates play Friday and Saturday evenings. The dog-friendly patio has fire pits.
