Showcase Auburn Hills 1-14 opened on December 8, 1989, on the site of the Blue Sky Drive-In, which had closed in 1987. It ran 14 screens. Then the new Great Lakes Crossing 25 drew its audience away. It closed in January 2002 and was demolished in 2013. A factory now stands on the site.
