The nonprofit Exit One Events relaunched New Buffalo's historic Ship & Shore Festival in 2026 as a blues and soul weekend, and it drew large crowds. The 2026 lineup included P.T. & The Cruisers, Hank Mowery and the Hawk Tones, Donna Herula, Marty “Big Dog” Mercer, The Newport Blues Project and Mandalyn and the Hunters, with food trucks and beer and wine tastings.
