Make time for these
Shinola launched in Detroit in 2011 with a mission to bring watchmaking back to the US, and its flagship on West Canfield opened on June 28, 2013, back when it doubled as the brand's bicycle assembly headquarters. Today it's the place to try on Shinola watches, browse leather bags, jewelry and gifts, and get a battery swap, engraving or monogramming done while you wait. There's a cafe inside, and the store throws community events like its annual Cars + Coffee morning.
