Michigan's largest aquarium, inside Great Lakes Crossing: walk under sharks in the ocean tunnel, touch a sea star, and meet rescued sea turtles.

01 / The story of this place
Make time for these
SEA LIFE Michigan opened in early 2015 inside Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills, and it now cares for more than 2,000 animals. The star is the Tropical Ocean exhibit: 120,000 gallons, about 500 creatures, and the state's only underwater walk-through tunnel, where Florence the nurse shark cruises right over your head. Add a touchpool with real sea stars, Stingray Bay, a shipwreck exhibit and a room full of jellies, and you've got an easy rainy-day win for kids and grown-ups alike.
- Michigan's only underwater walk-through tunnel
- Touchpool with real sea stars
- 2,000-plus animals, including rescued sea turtles
- Daily talks, feedings and behind-the-scenes tours
