Originally a meeting place for Detroit’s Scottish community, Saint Andrew’s Hall became an important part of the city’s live-music scene. Many well-known performers played here early in their careers. The Shelter downstairs is a distinct venue with its own listings. The building’s appeal lies in close-up performances and its continuing connection to club culture.
