It opened in 1981 as the Copper Country Mall Cinemas on M-26 in Houghton. Today it's the Michigan outpost of the Wisconsin-based Rogers Cinema chain, whose other houses are in Marshfield, Stevens Point, Waupaca and Wisconsin Rapids. Its five screens make it the Keweenaw's main first-run cinema. It's easy on the wallet too: $5 Tuesdays, $8 Student Wednesdays and $10 evening adult tickets. On September 26, 2026, Primetime was on the bill.
