What was here?

The Ramada Inn stood on a 5.5-acre site off Nine Mile Road in Southfield. The city took the property through tax foreclosure in June 2012, and the Downtown Development Authority acquired the land next door on condition that the empty hotel come down. The Adamo Group started demolition, asbestos removal included, on August 10, 2013, at a cost of $1.32 million.
