What’s it like to stay here?
The Glenbrook yurt sits on a ridge overlooking the Portage River and Halfmoon Lake. You can reach it by bike, on foot or by car. It is next to the Potawatomi Trail and about a mile from Hell, Michigan. It sleeps five. You get a picnic table, grill, fire circle, hand-pump well, outhouse and an indoor propane stove and heater.

Getting there
Bring propane canisters for the stove. You need a Recreation Passport to drive in, and you reserve at 800-447-2757 or midnrreservations.com.
