Roger Penske built his career first as a champion race car driver, then as one of the most successful team owners in motorsports history, and along the way he assembled Penske Corporation into a sprawling business empire spanning truck leasing, auto dealerships, transportation logistics and racing. The company's headquarters sits on Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Hills, in the heart of the Detroit suburbs where Penske has been based for decades. From here, Penske has overseen ventures that eventually included ownership of the IndyCar Series and its crown jewel, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, purchased in 2019. The headquarters remains the nerve center of Penske's business operations today, a working corporate campus rather than a public attraction.
