Make time for these
Peepo's was started in 2011 by two families who came from Lebanon, and it now has two shops; this one is on Ford Road in Canton. The counter turns out subs, shawarma, rice bowls and loaded fries, made fresh and ready to go. The signature is the Afrikano: customers wanted a spicy sub, store-bought hot sauces didn't cut it, so the team spent six months developing its own seasoning. Get it on steak, chicken, crispy chicken or falafel.
