Otus Supply, a Great Lakes comfort-food restaurant created by Thom Bloom and Scott 'Tiny' Myrick, opened in December 2016 in an 11,000-square-foot building in downtown Ferndale. Its side music room, The Parliament Room, became metro Detroit's home for jam, jamtronica, Americana, bluegrass, funk, folk and New Orleans brass, with acts such as Billy Strings, Leftover Salmon, Antibalas, Fruition and Shook Twins, and its website cited titles as Detroit's 'Best Place To Hear Bands' and 'Best New Music Venue'. It closed abruptly on February 27, 2023 without a stated reason, and the bank-owned property was sold to a new operator on October 30, 2025.
