PRIDE Friday is the weekly LGBTQ+ dance night at Necto, the downtown Ann Arbor nightclub on East Liberty Street that opened in 1984 as the Nectarine Ballroom. The club says the night has run every Friday since 1984 and bills it as Michigan's longest-running gay night. Resident hosts and DJs are joined by touring drag performers for themed parties, especially around Ann Arbor Pride. Necto itself is a mainstream club; the LGBTQ+ programming is the Friday night.
