01 / The story of this place
Make time for these
Mr. Michigan Leather began in 1995 as Mr. West Michigan Leather at The Cell in Grand Rapids and took its current name in 1996. It has since grown into a full weekend of education, fundraising and social events that ends with the title contest. The winner goes on to compete at International Mr. Leather in Chicago. The 31st (XXXI) weekend runs September 25–27, 2026, at The Dunes Resort in Saugatuck-Douglas.
