Motor City Pride is Michigan's largest Pride festival, filling downtown's Hart Plaza with two days of stages, drag, DJs and vendors. On Sunday, a parade steps off downtown at noon. The festival was held in Ferndale for years before moving to Detroit in 2011. It is run by an independent nonprofit that grew out of the Triangle Foundation/Equality Michigan planning committee.
