MJR Westland Cinema is a 16-screen first-run multiplex on North Wayne Road in Westland, built on the site of an 8-screen Showcase Cinemas. It opened as the 3,076-seat MJR Westland Grand Digital Cinema 16 on November 4, 2011. Today it has a Laser Ultra premium auditorium and a ScreenX room. VIP seats, a Studio Bar & Lounge and luxury recliners round it out, with 1,474 seats in all. Every feature showtime offers closed captioning and descriptive audio unless noted.

Tickets are $5 on Tuesdays, with surcharges for VIP seats, Laser Ultra, ScreenX and 3D. After 6 p.m., kids 6 and under can't attend PG-13 features (family films excepted), and never R-rated ones. Questions go to (734) 298-2657.

Age policy
Children under 2 free if held on a lap. Children 6 and under not admitted to PG-13 features after 6 p.m. (family-film exceptions) and never to R-rated features; under-17s need a parent or guardian aged 21+ for R-rated features.
