The Miss Gay Michigan America Weekend hosts the state preliminary of the Miss Gay America female-impersonation pageant at the Dunes Resort in Douglas. The weekend includes meet-and-greets with the contestants, the pageant itself on Saturday and drag bingo on Sunday. It usually falls on a weekend in early to mid-May; in 2026 it ran May 8–10.
