Make time for these
The campus calendar calls it Wood Gym; the athletics site calls it the SDC Gym. Either way, it's the big hardwood gym inside the Student Development Complex, dedicated in September 1980 and home to Huskies men's and women's basketball and volleyball ever since. It seats 3,200 for basketball, with bleachers on three sides, armchair seats on the north end and an 850-seat balcony with the press box above them. The record crowd is 3,612, set on March 15, 2003, for an NCAA regional semifinal against Southern Indiana. The floor was built by Horner Flooring from nearby Dollar Bay, the same company that has made courts for NCAA championships and NBA All-Star games.
