Awaken is a 42,000-square-foot haunted attraction in Leslie, between Lansing and Jackson, now in its 11th season, where one ticket covers four linked haunts. The Meekerville Barbershop is its side attraction: five minutes inside the shop of Hank, the bowling-trophy-loving barber who town gossip says has been 'accidentally' killing customers. It's sold separately and open to all ages. The grounds also have a Low Rider Casket Ride, a bar and indoor waiting.

Plan your visit
The escape room isn't sold in the online ticket store, so buy it on site. The main haunt isn't recommended for kids under 13, but the barbershop is for all ages. Take US-127 to exit 56 and park in the big, free, well-lit lot.
