Meadow Brook Theatre is a nonprofit professional theatre founded in 1966 and housed in Wilson Hall on the Oakland University campus in Rochester. It calls itself Michigan's largest producing professional theatre and stages a six-show season of plays and musicals. The 2026–27 season is its 60th, opening October 7, 2026 with The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. Its annual A Christmas Carol, in Charles Nolte's adaptation, reaches its 44th production in 2026, running November 20 to December 24. MBT has produced world premieres such as Johnny Manhattan (2017–18) and FANCY: A New Country Musical (2021–22), and it co-produces musicals with Oakland University's School of Music, Theatre and Dance.

The box office is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at (248) 377-3300, and Ticketmaster sells tickets too; children under 5 aren't admitted to main-season shows. Free lighted parking is right across the street.
