Designed by George D. Mason, Detroit’s Masonic Temple is an unusually large example of Masonic architecture. Meeting rooms, theaters, and event spaces fill the complex behind its fortress-like exterior. Different rooms create very different experiences, so the exact venue named on a concert ticket matters. The building remains a distinctive setting within Detroit’s music and event scene.
