Wayne State University named this Midtown Detroit building after Alex Manoogian, the Armenian-American industrialist who founded the Masco Corporation and became one of Detroit's most prominent philanthropists, donating not only Manoogian Mansion to the city but also substantial support to Wayne State itself.
