Make time for these
The Longs started farming in Commerce Township in 1876 and they're still on the same piece of Commerce Road. Spring brings asparagus, summer brings sweet corn, and September brings apples, mums and pumpkins. Cider is pressed right on the farm, the cinnamon-sugar donuts come out hot all day, and there are cider slushes, honey and jams to go with them. In 2024 the corn maze was a tribute to the Detroit Lions, and the aerial shot made the rounds all over metro Detroit. The weekend Fun Farm has jumping pillows, a bounce house, slides, pedal karts, a straw maze and a petting farm, plus a hayride out to the U-pick pumpkin patch.
