01 / The story of this place
Make time for these
Le Labo was founded in New York City in 2006 by Eddie Roschi and Fabrice Penot and has belonged to Estée Lauder since 2014. Each scent is named for its main note plus its number of ingredients, which is how cult favorites like Santal 33 and Thé Noir 29 got their names, and a City Exclusives line pays tribute to specific cities. In Detroit, the shop sits at 1232 Library St, near The Belt alley's murals, galleries and bars.
