The building opened as a 14-screen Rave multiplex, Cityplace 14, and closed in 2012. It became the Alamo Drafthouse Kalamazoo in November 2013, then AMC took over in 2017, running it as AMC Kalamazoo 10 and later Portage Street 10 until it closed for good in November 2020. It reopened as independent KP Cinemas in November 2023, with stadium seating and recliners throughout. There's a premium Infinity Vision screen, plus Flashback Cinema, Fathom Events and sensory-friendly screenings. On September 26, 2026, Avengers: Endgame Encore played on the Infinity Vision screen.
