Make time for these
The Kingston opened in downtown Cheboygan in March 1920 as a 1,063-seat movie house. Its main auditorium was later updated in Art Deco style. It was twinned in November 1983, tripled in June 1989 and became a five-screen cinema in spring 1993. Northern Michigan Cinemas runs it today, showing first-run films. Adults pay $9.75, seniors $7.50, and kids and matinees before 3:30 p.m. are $7.
