What’s it like to stay here?
The Sterling Group is building it on the site of the demolished Joe Louis Arena, the Red Wings' old home. Neumann/Smith designed the 25-story tower: 600 rooms including 44 suites, a 17,000-square-foot grand ballroom and nearly 50,000 square feet of meeting space, plus a spa, a fitness center and a pool. A skybridge will run straight into Huntington Place, and Andiamo Italian Chophouse will anchor the ground floor with a patio on the Riverwalk. The target is January 2027, just in time for the NCAA Men's Final Four in Detroit.
