IVY Kitchen + Cocktails is Nya Marshall's restaurant, opened in a building she bought on East Jefferson to bring farm-to-table dining back to the east side she grew up on. It had been open only about 75 days when the 2020 shutdown hit, and it survived by pivoting to carryout. The kitchen leans on grass-fed beef, cage-free organic eggs and fresh fish delivered daily. Regulars swear by the sesame ginger salmon, the 48-hour-brined Sweet Chili Thai Chicken and the smoky Detroit Old Fashioned.
