Island Lake Recreation Area sits on the Huron River at 12950 East Grand River. The organization campground takes groups of up to about 500 people. There are also two primitive canoe-in sites, with a one-night maximum. Rustic cabins can be rented too. Group sites are booked by calling the park office.
