InsideOut Gallery was Mike Curths' art gallery, cocktail bar and event space in a Garland Street warehouse, a pioneer of Traverse City's Warehouse District for almost 14 years. It showed avant-garde and pop-surrealist art, hosted independent music showcases, comedy, storytelling and live WNMC radio broadcasts, and was home to groups such as Parallel 45 Theatre and Good on Paper Improv. Curths closed it in 2016, citing retirement and health, competition from breweries and restaurants with live entertainment, and a month-to-month lease after the building was listed for sale; the last public event was on September 25, 2016.
