01 / The story of this place
Make time for these
Hook opened in 2023 in the remodeled former Brownie's on the Lake building (Jack's Waterfront before that), with boat docking and seating inside and out. Local bands and duos play several evenings a week; summer 2026 brought Motor City Hippies, Black Mountain Sons, Beyond Eleven and Denise Davis and The Motor City Sensations. It's a restaurant first, with music as early-evening dinner entertainment, and the Joe Vicari Restaurant Group took over management for the 2026 season.
