Artist manager and promoter Don Johnson opened OverDrive in the Lansing Mall in 2019, in the space Tequila Cowboy left behind. The main room did country and rock, with Wednesday line-dancing lessons and cheap shows, while karaoke lived in the side room, Hit and Run Karaoke Bar & Grill, whose website invited you to “find your voice.” City Pulse noted well drinks from $4 and 12-ounce beers for $3. It didn't last: by October 2020 the web domain had lapsed and was parked for sale.
