01 / The story of this place
Make time for these
Begun in 1979, the festival has been held since 1984 at the city-owned Marquette Tourist Park, which has camping for up to 1,000 units. Mainstage acts play bluegrass, old-time, Cajun, Celtic, acoustic blues and folk, alongside traditional dance, teen and kids' programs and an arts and crafts show. It is the largest event of its kind in the Upper Peninsula.
