Make time for these
Tyree Guyton began the Heidelberg Project on Detroit’s east side in 1986. Houses, yards, and everyday objects become a language for addressing neglect, memory, and renewal. This is not a conventional museum display preserved in a fixed arrangement: installations and the site change over time. The surrounding residential neighborhood remains part of the context.
