Make time for these
The field opened in 1975 and used to be plain old WSU Baseball Field. In 2003 the old fence came down and a replica of Fenway Park's outfield went up, from the 37.5-foot Green Monster to the outfield shape and the right-field foul pole. Thanks to the Detroit Historical Society, the left-field scoreboard from old Tiger Stadium works again at the base of the wall. Chair-back seats and a two-tier press box came in August 2018, and a sound system in June 2024.
