Harbor Springs Lyric Theatre
A nonprofit cinema on Main Street that brought movies back to downtown Harbor Springs in 2016. Five screens, from a 200-seat room under a starry barrel ceiling to a nine-recliner Dolby Atmos den, plus opera and theater broadcasts.

The original Lyric closed in 1981, and in 2014 a group set out to bring movies back to downtown Harbor Springs. They bought a 1916 building at 275 East Main Street, gutted three retail stores and built new auditoriums between November 2015 and summer 2016. The main 200-seat room has a barrel ceiling painted with constellations and shoreline murals. Beyond first-run and independent films, it shows Met Opera, National Theatre Live and Exhibition on Screen broadcasts. It has grown to five screens, including two small luxury rooms with Dolby Atmos: one with 14 loungers, the other with 9 recliners.
