Hamtramck Disneyland is Dmytro Szylak’s personal art environment, assembled from found objects and handmade elements above and between garages. Despite its name, it is not an amusement park. Hatch Art took on its preservation and care after the artist’s death. Repairs, changing materials, and the site’s modest scale are part of its continuing story; neighboring houses remain homes.
