Born in 1998 as the Metro Times Blowout, where the White Stripes and Eminem got early exposure, it was revived in 2024 by local musicians, bar owners and volunteers as a fundraiser for the Hamtramck Labor Day Festival. Venues include Small's, Kelly's, The Strays, Painted Lady Lounge, Polish Sea League and Outer Limits Lounge; the 2026 all-access wristband cost $20.
