This Greenfield Road corner has been home to a gay bar since the Hayloft Saloon opened here in 1980; new owners rebranded it as HALO in 2024. Built around its sound system, it hosts DJ nights such as the RADIANT house and techno parties, karaoke twice a week (voted Best Karaoke Night by Metro Times readers in 2025) and bear, leather and other social nights. There's pool, darts, a patio and plenty of non-alcoholic drinks, and the bar calls itself diverse, inclusive and queer-friendly.
